The safety and wellbeing of every child is at the heart of everything Mrs Moss does. This short policy explains the practical steps in place during in-person and online sessions.

• Mrs Moss is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children in her care.
• She holds a current Enhanced DBS certificate, available to view on request.
• All in-person sessions take place at the child's home with a parent or guardian present in the property.
• Parents are encouraged to remain at home throughout every in-person session.
• Any concerns about a child's welfare will be handled sensitively and in line with current safeguarding guidance.

What we collect

Your name, email address and phone number, plus your child's first name, year group, and any subjects or notes you choose to share when booking.

Why we collect it

Solely to arrange and deliver tutoring sessions and to communicate with your family about them.

How it's stored

Securely, with access limited to Mrs Moss. Your information is never sold or shared with third parties.

How long we keep it

Records are kept for the duration of the tutoring relationship and deleted after it ends, aside from a short period needed for accounting.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time. Just email hello@thelocaltutor.co.uk and we'll respond promptly.

• 48 hours notice is required to reschedule a session.
• Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice may be charged in full.
• Mrs Moss will always try to be flexible where possible - life happens, and we understand.
